We are students in the Syracuse City School District and we want to change the way that our classmates and teachers are perceived.

Our schools contain a diverse collection of talented, artistic, worldly, athletic, intelligent and accomplished individuals. Our teachers are caring, giving and smart.

Get to know me, I'm: Laniesha

School: ITC (Institute of Technology) High School

I will be a:  Film Producer.

I will be attending:  LeMoyne College this fall!

My favorite book is: "White Cat" by Holly Black

My favorite subject is: Art (and English)

Three words to describe me are:  Artistic, focused and spirited.

I give back to the community by: Mowing the lawn and babysitting.

My interests outside of school are: Drawing, going to my internship, and reading books.  

One challenge I've overcome: Dealing with Attention Deficit Disorder...but I've learned to focus with the help of my mom and my teachers.

My proudest moment was when I: Became a sponsor senior for high school and ranked 5th in my graduating class.

I want YOU to know this about SCSD: Without it, I wouldn't be a genuine person and a role model to my peers.

What 2020 looks like to me: I will be bright and successful as a TV/film producer.
